And So It Goes
Until very recently, Charlie Rose used to begin each show with the phrase, “Welcome to the broadcast…” He now says “Welcome to the program…” I’m guessing this is because “broadcast” implies something anachronistic, and “program” is more webby sounding.
Whatever the reason is, I don’t like it.
